How We Use AI
Artificial intelligence continues to advance at a rapid pace, alongside technology more broadly. Nova*ei has established principles and guidelines for team members regarding the work-related use of generative AI (GenAI) and GenAI agents. These guidelines are reviewed bi-annually and revised as necessary.
Our work is inherently human-centric, multi-faceted, and solutions-oriented. Nova*ei values responsible and ethical use of GenAI and GenAI agents as assistants to augment – not replace – human-centric analysis, communication, ideation, risk mitigation, and solution development.
We follow these principles to harness the benefits of AI in our work, while mitigating risks:
Focus on Augmented Intelligence
We believe in the use of GenAI and GenAI agents to augment human intelligence and ideation, not replace it. Team members are encouraged to be the humans in the loop, providing oversight, editorial control, and decision-making authority over the use of GenAI outputs.Commit to Ethical and Secure Use
We are committed to fair and ethical practices in our use of GenAI technologies for Nova*ei work. We do not enter or upload any confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information from clients into GenAI tools. We closely guard client and third-party data, privacy, information security, and intellectual property and do not enter or upload confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personal, company, or client information or data into AI or AI agents.Act with Transparency and Trust, Incorporating Emotional Intelligence
We are transparent and honest about our use of GenAI. We disclose its use in our work; GenAI prompt inputs / outputs used to inform client deliverables will be made available at the specific client’s request. We engage with our clients and partners about the use and evolution of GenAI to ensure the responsible use of GenAI tools and agents in our work. We will continue to be curious and cautious in our use of AI, with a focus on continuous learning, evaluating the implications of AI for society at large, and using AI responsibly in our work.
